Johnny is a motion designer and visual artist who recently worked on Adidas' Climacool clothing range launch in collaboration with JD Sports. Tasked with creating high-energy, immersive visuals, he utilised Blender to design dynamic 3D motion graphics that showcased the Climacool technology’s futuristic feel.
Bringing his expertise in projection mapping to the project, Johnny transformed the venue into an interactive experience using Resolume, synchronising visuals with the event’s lighting and music to create a fully immersive brand environment.
As a video technician for Bongo's Bingo, Johnny has been part of over 150 events in the UK and Asia, delivering vibrant visual experiences. His role involves not only managing video technology but also creating captivating visual designs that enhance the show's unique atmosphere. As the Creative Manager for Buzz Bingo, Johnny led the inaugural creative team that transformed the brand from a traditional bingo hall to a vibrant entertainment destination. Tasked with redefining Buzz Bingo’s identity, he spearheaded initiatives that expanded the brand’s offerings from bingo-only experiences to a diverse lineup of events, including themed nights, live performances, and immersive social gatherings that appealed to a younger audience.
Buzz Bingo's goal was to shift the demographic from 45-85 to a fresh, energetic 18-40 age group, and he achieved this by developing a modern, visually engaging brand identity and curating events that resonated with a younger crowd. Through strategic rebranding, promotional campaigns, and community engagement, he successfully modernized Buzz Bingo's image while preserving its legacy appeal.
This transformation was implemented across 80 Buzz Bingo locations nationwide, where Johnny coordinated with local teams to ensure consistency and a high standard of execution. By integrating digital media, social campaigns, and partnerships, he brought a new wave of excitement to Buzz Bingo, driving a significant increase in foot traffic and brand loyalty among a new, diverse audience. His work set a foundation for the brand's continued success in appealing to a broad range of age groups and entertainment preferences.
As the Visual Designer for the One Night with Charlotte UK comedy tour, Johnny brought a unique approach to live comedy through immersive design. With a focus on vibrant visuals and innovative stage elements, he crafted an atmosphere that complemented Charlotte’s comedic style, using dynamic lighting, custom backdrops, and projection to amplify each punchline. Johnny's work ensured that every performance was engaging and memorable, enhancing the audience experience and bringing Charlotte’s comedy to life across the UK.
